Clean & Glean

On Wednesday, I shared with you my word for 2013…listen.

I am focusing on listening for the Holy Spirit’s voice. I am listening more to God’s word because He said “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

One method of listening I am continuing is what I call “clean and glean”. When cleaning, I use this time to listen to the messages of some of my favorite speakers including Andy Stanley and Steven Furtick. I also have on my phone an App called YouVersion which allows me to listen to the Bible.

I am sure you have a way that you are pouring God’s word into your heart too and I’d love to hear about it! Just click on “comments” below and let’s learn more of God’s truth together in 2013!

I love cooking, cleaning, driving and even showering while listening to contemporary Christian music. I listen to it so much that my entire family now listens to it as well. Even my husband, who is a drummer, now plays in our church praise band. Its funny, when I first started listening to Christian contemporary music, my 3 kids and hubby used to limit its play time, now they can all sing along to their favorites. I love to hear them enjoy these songs, as many have reference to Scripture. We love music and have grown spiritually listening to today’s Christian music.
