In my devotion, I shared that whether we hit our new year goals or not, let’s redefine our Februarys. God’s peace is still there for us, along with His love.

As a gift to email subscribers, I’ve created this printable with key scriptures to help you combat the hurry and hustle.

In today’s devotion, I mention a resource that has literally changed my life: Exhale: Lose Who You’re Not, Love Who You Are. Live Your One Life Well.

Starting March 2nd, my friends Amy Carroll and Cheri Gregory are hosting a six week Online Book Study of their book Exhale.

Because their book has changed my life in significant ways, I highly recommend getting involved. There will be weekly Facebook Lives with Amy and Cheri, group interaction with women all over the world, and great giveaways. Click here to join the private Facebook group where it will be held.

Here’s a description of the book that gives you a picture of where we’ll be going together:

Move from running-on-empty to spent-and-content, investing your life in soul-satisfying ways.

Exhale is for the woman suffocating under the pressure of being all things to all people; of filling every unfilled spot at church, work, and home; of trying to do it all right, make decisions that benefit everyone else, and keep everyone happy.

Rather than adding more to our to-do list, Amy and Cheri have shown me how to

lose the ill-fitting roles I’ve been trying to fill so that I can be lighter and freer

loving my truest, God-created self with all my gifts instead of trying to shove myself into a mold.

Join this study and journey with others who are learning to live their one and only life in a way that you know truly matters.

This isn’t a time-management book filled with how-to lists and calendar tools. Instead, it walks you through a process that releases you from the things that have created unbearable pressure. Then you’ll be able to live the combination we all long for: fulfilling the desires of your heart, loving your people well, and bringing glory to God.

I hope you’ll come along!

Lynn

  3. I was so encouraged I went outside and sat in the 1st sunshine we have had in days and just soaked in the beauty of the LORD! I have a little red table and chairs that my sweet hubby put there for last fall ( for such a time as this) which I have never been able to use. He found them left at a rent house and painted them for me. I hurried past them throughout the holidays and now must give DEAR HUBBY a (I’m sorry) plus a big thank you . Not only that but I shared a great and enlightingly time with OUR LORD today. How refreshing is that ! I am so BLESSED. QUIET was even god. I cannot believe I have been missing this all my life.

So beautiful, Kim! Lord, help us to slow down and enjoy you!
