Don’t Get It Right

I blow it. I blow it with my husband. I blow it with my kids. You name it, I blow it.

But He never does. God’s faithfulness to me; His unconditional love never quits. It never falls short. Never messes up.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” Galatians 2:20 – 21 NIV

I blow it. I blow it with my husband. I blow it with my kids. You name it, I blow it.

But He never does. God’s faithfulness to me; His unconditional love never quits. It never falls short.

  1. Lynn, I am so there with you! I thought when my 2 boys and 1 girl leave the house, I'll be fine! ROFL!!!

Then when they did leave and I was still getting frazzled I thought "Well it's the neighbors, or the other girls at work." I certainly didn't want to put ALL the blame on myself. lol

But… Scripture does say "The Lord is MY Shepherd…" so I thought I'm the one who needs the bible diet so, please Jesus, feed me.

So when I "don't quite get it right" I know if I humble myself and stay honest the food that He gives me takes my frazzled mind off of myself and on Him!

I thank Him everyday for that!!!
