Grounded: Standing Firm in a Roller Coaster World

If you’re joining me today from my Proverbs 31 Ministries devotion, Why Have You Made Me Like This?, welcome! If you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, just click here!

When the schedulers are slower, summer is a great time, to step away from all that society tells us we must be and focus on whose we are and who we are.

I’ve created a free devotional you can share with your young girl, and do with her if you’d like, to encourage her to stand firm in her faith in this roller coast world. Click HERE to enter your email and your freebie will arrive in your inbox shortly.

This 5 day devotional is a great way to get conversations rolling in the lives of the girls in your life. If you do not currently have a young girl you are investing in, consider forwarding this post to a mom or mentor who is helping a young girl become the woman God created her to be.

Let’s help them to get their minds and hearts firm and secure, with their confidence built on the One who never changes, even when all else may be.

I teach Sunday School 5-8th graders. They need encouragement daily for their self esteem. If we can instill God’s love for them early on, I’m praying when the negative hits them, they’ll be prepared mentally. I was unable to get the free 5 day devotion?

Hi Karen, thank you so much for investing in young people! You are a gift!

I have entered your name into the download entry, so I hope you will see it in your inbox!

Thank you for the devotional you did! I am a mother of two tween girls who are facing these challenges on a regular basis. I love being able to share God’s love with them and show them scriptures that tell them how God sees them to hopefully counteract the messages that society sends them. I wish I could have had these sorts of resources when I was their ages! Does your Brave Beauty book have that type of stuff too, or is it a slightly different topic?

Hi Tara – each day of the 100 day devotional is built on God’s word. It builds within a girl whose she is and who she is. My purpose and hope is to come alongside her and help her build this foundation for all of the changes in the days and years to come. My second hope is to create a resource that will open up dialog between herself and her mentor/mother – a woman of God who will be there beside her when the enemy brings the lies he always brings at some point.

I hope this helps! If you would like me to send you a sample of a few chapters, just send me an email to [email protected] and I will be happy to do so!

  4. So excited about this! Is there a way to buy the devotional in bulk for my highschool sunday school class of 10th-12th graders?

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Hi Heather – I don’t have the Grounded devotion in print. You are welcome to print as many as you need. I do have a devotional in print “Devotions for a Revolutionary Year”. You can find it here on my books page: https://lynncowell.com/books/. I do sell these at a reduced price for bulk purchases. If this is something you are interested in, just email me at [email protected]. Thanks!
