It’s Got to Come Out!

On Friday, I shared with you about my gooey, green pool. Not fun! Click here if you didn’t get a chance to read that post.

“It’s going to cost a lot of money and a couple of days.” Those are not the type of words that you want to hear coming out of the mouth of a repair man! That is what he proceeded to tell me concerning replacing our broken diving board. He said that since the board had been there for so long, the bolts were completed rusted; the screw and nut having literally become one. There was no way to unscrew it and lift it off. The only way to get it out was to cut the bolts off at the cement with a Sawzaw, bust up the cement that surrounded the base, and then remove all the rebar. It all had to come out. That whole process involved several days, a couple of jackhammers, several strong men and a whole lot of money.

For some of us, there are some things that are in our lives that need to come out just like that diving board. Maybe it is an easy fix. Turn the tv off when that show comes on that fills your mind with garbage. Stop yourself from uttering that sharp remark to your loved one. Change your radio station to one that is actually a positive thing in your life.

For others, it’s just not going to be that easy. That thing that needs to come out has become a lot like the bolts that held down my diving board. That thing and you “been together” for so long you are now one and the removal process is going to be difficult. You are going to have to ask God to do a miracle to get this thing out of your heart. You are going to have to dig into the Bible, spend some serious amounts of time in prayer and possibly fast as well. It will involve letting a more mature believer know about the secret that you have been hiding. It may involve going to a counselor. You are going to have to involve some people who love you who can help you to do it. It won’t be easy, but today is the day and now is the time.

Please don’t delay. If you don’t get serious about getting that sin out, it will continue to wreck havoc on your life and on the lives of those you love. It’s time to get it done. My friend, today is the day!

    Hey Everybody!

i've been looking to figure out a good place to begin with the Acai Berry free trial and was just wanting to know if anyone had any thoughts on whether or not the stuff works for weight loss? So far here is the only article I have been able to come across that seemed real for the goals I have. Thoughts?
