Peace

I am so enjoying reading all of the promises that the Lord gives to the Israelites while they are going through this very trying time of leaving Egypt. Even though it is terribly difficult, He is very near.

Exodus 11:6-7 “Then a loud wail will rise throughout the land of Egypt, a wail like no one has heard before or will ever hear again. But among the Israelites it will be so peaceful that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites.”

What peace it brings knowing that the Lord makes a distinction between those who are His own and those who are not. Just this morning, Greg and I were praying for each other, praying for His favor. This is something we know we can pray for in confidence because we are His own.

Please pray for Madi and I as we head up to Black Mountain, NC this afternoon to speak at Forest Hill’s Mother/Daughter retreat. I feel so blessed that not only do I get to do what I love, but I get to do it while spending time with my own daughter!

Have a terrific weekend!

  1. Praying that you and Madi have a wonderful time and that you'll know His peace as you share with these precious ladies and their daughters.

    Love & prayers,
