Wednesday Wisdom Tip: Never Give Up, Mama

You might be the only one praying for your child today. Don't quit praying; don't quit believing!

I know.

You’re worn out. Exhausted. Each day, this thing called parenting seems to be getting harder. That’s not how you thought it was going to go.

Mama – don’t give up.

Don’t quit praying; you might be the only one praying for your kids.

Don’t quit believing; the Lord says He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

Hang on to His promise today:

“Thus says the LORD, “Restrain your voice from weeping And your eyes from tears;
  For your work will be rewarded,” declares the LORD, “And they will return from the land of the enemy. “There is hope for your future,” declares the LORD, “And your children will return to their own territory.” Jeremiah 31:16 – 17

There is the hope for your future, my friend. Your children will return.

  1. Loved this today, Lynn.

    It seems like the longer we wait (on God) something happens inside us. I can’t describe it. It’s not bitterness, but more of a deep sorrow that seems to show up as love to other hurting people.

    We wait and remember the answers of the past. Love never fails. He is LOVE.

  2. This meant so much to me. I’ve been praying for the salvation of my kids daily for years. For my husband also. It has been a struggle to continue. But my family is so worth it all. Thank you for you words. Very encouraging.

      You are so welcome, Ana! Encouraging each other!

  4. WOW! He ALWAYS knows what we need! I specifically prayed this prayer for one of my daughter’s this morning (after doing the First 5 App study). God knows I have been worried about her straying away from her faith and I feel like He is speaking directly to me! Thank you!
