Your post, study workshops are always so encouraging, I am asking my BFF and sister in Christ Melissa, to join me on this journey with you to help us become more confident in the right areas and for the right reasons in our daily lives

    1. Just purchased on Amazon, but would be super cool to win the actual book! Can’t wait to start this study with you!

      1. Lynn Cowell says:

So excited you are joining us, D’ana!

  7. I’m with you Lynn, God is working on me in this area. I especially have felt this way at work over the years. I typically feel that I get stuck in positions and am overlooked for promotions. I get rewarded financially during raise time, so I know that my performance is not the issue. Right now, I’m in a position (been there 15 mos) and I had a great annual review, got a 10% raise and a $2,000 bonus. I love my job, my responsibilities, the company; however, I feel stuck with a title that makes it sound like I just graduated from college and doesn’t reflect the job I actually do. I know the solution seems simple: ask for a new title. I guess my pride wants them to give me a new title to show me that they think of me worthy of it. You know, their idea not mine. With the new year, many coworkers have gotten new titles, and I feel very overlooked. I know, I know…”What’s in a name?” Am I more worried about what other people think of me when they see my marketing assistant title on my business card and email signature then I am about what God thinks of me? The enemy knows this bothers me, so he continually reminds me of it. Just recently, our receptionist got her title changed from administrative assistant to analyst since she’s taking on some accounting duties. Ouch, that one really hurt…I’m now the only one with “assistant” in my title. I’m supposed to be getting more responsibilities soon, so when that happens maybe I’ll get a new title. If not, maybe I’ll get the courage to ask for one….but it still would be nice if they find me worthy. I know, I need to be more like Deborah and know that honoring God by doing a good job is more important than a title! 🙂

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Liz, thank you for being so honest and authentic here. It gives me so much peace and hope that God gets me – even the parts of me He is actively changing. You see it … I believe He will change your heart and mind as you soak truth into your spirit!

  8. I would LOVE to do this study with my husband. I’d ask you to pray that God would soften his heart to that possibility and that I could find the courage to ask him. Winning this bundle would be great. Win or not, I’d love to know where the journal is from, it’s beautiful.

  9. Lord, increase my confidence in you. My performance has been strained this past year due to a serious health crisis which lead to me being away from work. Brand new staff didn’t help the situation so it was rough returning back to work.
My confidence was shaken. The Lord has opened a door for me to move to another area and reset. I’m grateful and prayer. Thank you for sharing this message and for the opportunity to win the devotional.

  10. Judy Redden says:

I always get a boost in the heart confidence when I read your devotions.
    Blessings to you today

  11. This is so me. On the outside I pretend I don’t need the accolades but internally I’m wishing someone would notice/acknowledge my deed. I’m going to invite my women’s bible study group to this.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Betsy – if there is any way I can assist your women’s group, just let me know! I think most of us women need these truths from the Lord!

  12. I absolutely am looking forward to these verses as I begin a new job and hope to find the confidence I need to succeed. I plan to invite my close friend Jenn on my journey!

  13. I could use this, I find myself seeking approval from many. I am trying hard to not look for my worth from earthly things and people. I so badly want to feel my worth from God.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

It’s a daily battle for me for sure, Michele! I didn’t write the devotion as in “I’m past this”, but instead, it’s a day by day dependence on God!

  14. Thank you for the devotion this morning, Lynn. It really resonates with me. I’ve invited my mom to do this study with me. ☺

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Hope to see you and your mom interacting with us during this live study, Whitney!

  15. Thank you for sharing your heart and touching mine. I will ask my daughter to do this study with me. I have no doubt it will be helpful for both of us.

  16. Melanie M Spindler says:

What a struggle for most women! It’s hard to live this way…I’d never read the story of Deborah that way before, but had often admired what a go-getter she was. She was a real woman: knew she was strong enough in God’s strength; knew when to act because of heeding the Holy Spirit; knew to give credit to her team. A real leader and (might I say) a real feminist (don’t hear me using today’s definition of feminist)!!!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

I LOVE Deborah! In Make Your Move, we study her for a whole week. Such a mentor for us all!

  17. I’ve been struggling with this exact issue – feeling invisible and unimportant in the eyes of those I do ministry with. Keep reminding myself it’s only what GOD sees and thinks of me that matters. Would love to do this study with my accountability partner – Christine.

  18. Carrie Ann Fillwock says:

I am really looking forward to this. I know I get in my own way at times. My marriage is in some serious trouble. I find myself falling into the spiral of wanting my husband to make me feel wanted. With his issues that is not going to happen until he comes to God. Then I become hurry and angry. Why am I not enough for him to stop with his several addictions? Then, sadness hits. Then I gain confidence because I know I am a daughter of the King! What a mess of emotions! Can’t wait for this study, I know I need it! I will be doing this with two of my girls. Jennifer Puskac and Danielle Kain. Thank you. This is happening at just the right time. God is so good when when it’s rough!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Carrie – I wrote Make Your Move because, I too, was tired of the roller coaster of confidence. I can’t wait to grow with you and your girls!

  19. I would love to do this with my best friend who lives with me now after my husband passed away. She’s been on a journey herself and seems to have wandered from the Lord after a rough divorce and different trials with her kids. Thanks for the encouragement today!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

How wonderful! I hope you and your friend join us, Sarah!

  20. I read the Proverbs 31 email this morning at just the right time. I’m feeling so overworked and under appreciated both at work and at home. Thank you for touching my heart today. I’m going to share this study with my other single mom friends as a book club or maybe a shared blog. We need this support and to support each other. Thanks!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Gina – I am so very glad God scheduled this devotion today for you!

  21. Thank you for today’s devotion. I’m always striving to be more confident like Deborah. I would love to share this with my girls (daughter, daughter-in-law, and soon to be daughter-in-law)

  22. April White says:

    Lynn,
I so enjoyed your atta-girl devotional, I too wish I could have that much confidence. My heart longs to make no one here proud of me (I tell myself) but My Heavenly Father as ultimately He is the One who matters most but then when my feels get hurt or something goes wrong my confidence is shattered. All throughout life I have wanted to hear someone say they were proud of me but now I can’t wait to hear Him tell me that as He is my Greatest Dream!! Much ❤️ Love

    April

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

I hope you’ll join us for the study, April, so I can get to know you more!

  23. I would love to share this with my family as a devotion we could do together. This would be a great way for all of us to connect on a deeper level….something we very often struggle with. Thank you, Lynn for your effort in creating media like this and for being obedient to God, no matter the outcome.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Wow, did your last sentence nail me, Kim. “No matter the outcome.” Writing and publishing is a very vulnerable thing. Talk about the temptation to place your confidence in people’s opinions … and purchases. Each day I am working with the Lord to not base my confidence on the success of Make Your Move!

  24. Traci Harre says:

I would invite my friend Heather to join because she is like me, a single mother raising a special needs child. However, mine is 18 and her needs are much simpler than my friend Heather’s daughter who is 12 and has Asperger’s among other needs. She and I both also struggle from high anxiety and so I know that we both need to learn confidence to depend solely on God and not other people’s accolades. Thank you for your blog and the reminder of Deborah, I have always loved that story.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

So glad you’ll be joining us, Traci! Although different from you and Heather, our family has been working through mental illness. It is a journey that only those who have to depend on God in this way can understand, but we are so thankful HE does! Welcome!

  25. Kyndall Hill says:

Good morning. I’ve been eye-balling this book of yours, knowing that growing my confidence in faith and in the Lord is something that I need to be working on. Your book is a purchase I’ve been wanting to make for some weeks now. And I don’t read the Prov. 31 Ministries devotion everyday, but this morning I opened it up and decided to read. I was grateful to be reminded and encouraged by this message that God sees and His pleasure, satisfaction, approval, and applause are what my focus should be on and my aims should be set towards. I have struggled with this oftentimes, desperately seeking or desiring the approval or commendations of others. And I’ve admitted to myself that my self-confidence is low (at least lower than I’d like for it to be). But I look forward to being able to read your book and study God’s word on this matter, to believe what He says about me is true and to put and find my confidence in Him and not man. I would love to receive this book bundle and to share this study with my friend who’s like a little sister to me, Xenia. I think we both could use/stand some building up by the word of God in this area. May God bless you for sending this (His) word, for sharing it with His people. Amen.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Kyndall – I am so glad that your path crossed me with and Make Your Move again 🙂 I am believing that this spring season will be the time that the Lord does build your confidence on Him alone!

  26. I want to be like Deborah and do God’s work without expecting any glory. As my faith continues to grow, I pray to become more bold for my Father!

  27. I never have made the connection between needing appreciation and confidence. This is so fascinating to me! An aha! moment for sure. Thank you! And I would love to share this with my sister.

  28. This teaching was for me today!! Seems I am ever looking for approval and a pat on the back and I hate it! Ugh! I need to know deep in my knower, that Christ loves and approves of me and that is ALL I need!

  29. Thanks for reminding us of the story of Deborah. I also read Judges 5 – The song of Deborah – I had 2 verses underlined verse 3 and the last verse, verse 31 which is “Lord, may all of your enemies die like Sisera! But may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power!” There was peace in the land for forty years.”

  30. As my name is Deborah, too (spelled same), I can relate. It sounds like such a powerful name when spoken, but the power, strength and courage that Deborah had came only from God himself. The same is true for each of us. Sure we like to receive the thanks and praise (“atta-a-girl”) for a job well done. Who wouldn’t? We are human. But, we need to step back and remember who made us into the men and women we are today – God. He made us in His image and to do His work to give Him all the praise. Amen. I would like to do this study with my 25 year old daughter. She struggles like me at times and it would be a nice way of reconnecting.

  31. Brittany Douglas says:

I have a couple girlfriends I would like to invite to do this study with me. I think we would all like to say we don’t need the approval of others, but I see in our interactions and the things we desire like appreciation from our husbands, bosses and children, that we are still seeking that atta-girl! I think this would be a great topic for all women and I hope to spread it to as many of my friends as I can get to join!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

It’s a human-thing, isn’t it? I find myself daily struggling and also see that when I take this trouble to the Holy Spirit, He empowers me. See you at the study, Brittany!

  32. Lawana Whaley says:

What an eye Opener. While growing up I always felt I never did enough to make my dad proud. When I was in college I discussed with my dad how I felt when he never praised me for achievements. He simply said “I never felt I needed to tell you . I always knew you were capable of those things and that you knew that I was proud of you .” That statement made me realize that all that was expected of me was to be the best I could be with the talents God had given me. To be proud of my accomplishments for myself. Years later, as I was getting married he wrote me a short letter telling me, among other things, he was proud of me . My dad never wrote letters so it is one of my prized possessions.
I have a friend and real estate partner who sadly NEVER had anyone believe in her as she was growing up. She has the most beautiful soul and is try’s to be a most prayerful woman — for others but forgets herself. She pushes herself too hard and expects criticism because she thinks she never does enough. I would love to have this package and take this journey with her.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Lawana, what a gift God gave you in that letter. Your dad sounds like my dad. He didn’t tell me he loved me until I was in my 20’s. The first time he told me he was proud of me was when I was taking him to chemotherapy one day. Like you, I treasure that today. Lord, may Lawana’s friend say “yes” to becoming a part of the Make Your Move study. May this be her time to find all the confidence, acceptance and approval she needs in You

  33. I thank you for this eye-opening devotional. I am not sure who I would invite as I have been living in a community for 7 years and don’t have a close friend yet. It has been rough. Pray I could find someone to pray with and share with. It has been hard for all of us to fit in here. Very closed. Maybe a friend and I could do it long distance!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Tracie – I am so very sorry to hear that. Please join the study – you will not be alone. You will have us 🙂 Father, should you have someone for Tracie to invite to join us, please bring that person to her mind today. Amen

  34. Kelle carver says:

I would like to do it with my daughter Sarah

  35. joanna kearns says:

We have been through some horrible distressing circumstances hurricane irma unemployment undeserved still years later an ending to a good once godly friendship and still now distressing about my future and what is going to happen to me before my elderly father dies we really need and could use this help please help us out thanks for the chance

  36. I am going to invite my oldest daughter Bre to join me!

  37. Julianna Rowe says:

I am going to ask my sister Elisabeth to join me. She’s always been there for me and I’d like to give back to her.

  38. mirna chamorro says:

Thus is great. I will invite my daughter melody to join me in this study.

  39. Lisa Buchanan says:

I am so looking forward to this study. My friend and I are doing all that we can with God’s help to change our lives and our futures this year, but changing ourselves. We are ready for a move!!!! I would and will invite her to join us, Suzanne Driver.

  40. I’m going to invite my daughter Allison. I’d love for her and I both to start building our confidence in God not the feedback of others.

  41. Katie Jones says:

I will be inviting my BFF Melissa E. We both desperately need to regain our confidence and grow our walk with Christ!! Thank you for the devotion today, it was just what I needed!!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Isn’t God so good with His timing?

      1. Katie Jones says:

He’s always right on time ;)!

  42. I would invite my Mom and pray that I would continue to look to God for confidence and not “likes” , “shares” or view counts. AMEN!

  43. I would like to invite my cousin Sharon Ingram, close as sisters.

  44. Sharon C+ says:

My sister. We both grew up in a dysfunctional family and lack self-confidence. I’ve always wanted to fit in or belong and tried so hard but never made it. It’s much better to rely on God to be my friend. Thanks for the study.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Sharon, I’ll be looking for you and your sister!

  45. I’ll invite my sister, Jessica. We’re both at places in our lives where it would be helpful to be reminded to find our confidence in the Lord and no one else!

  46. Alyssa Myers says:

Wow, as a mom and wife and more importantly Christ follower…I definitely needed this reminder. What a great thing to be praying daily for myself. I tend to look and wait for my husbands “thanks” “woah, great job” as he walks in the door and sees what I accomplished that day.
    Thank you for this!
I’m going to share this with my sister, Amanda!!

  47. Carrie McIntire says:

Grateful that this was shared with me today so that I could find this upcoming study. I am hoping that my friend Mary Elmer will join me!!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

YEAH! It makes me so happy to see others inviting others to join us! I know God is going to do great things in all of our lives. Take us deeper in dependence on Him; finding His joy there!

  48. Melody Bassett says:

I am inviting two special people in my life. My daughter April Bassett Spears and my best friend for many years Vikki Odom (Tucker). I have recently had to move away from my family and friends and these two have been there for me every step of the way.

  49. Best friend and true woman of God- Elizabeth Turnmire

  50. Holly Surels says:

    I really enjoy your emails

  51. Cassie Marion says:

I will be inviting my friend Elizabeth, and my mom. I’m looking forward to this study!

  52. Hi, this sounds like a great study. I think the perfect person to do this study with me is my 11 year old daughter Samantha.

  53. I would love to take part, and will invite my friend, Amy!

  54. Elizabeth says:

I would love to win and participate in this Bible Study. I don’t have a friend to share it with(I know it seem unbelievable but it is true) I take care of my mom who has Alzheimer’s /dementia and don’t really get much free time to connect to the outside. Lately fear and anxiety have been getting the very best of me, where I should be giving that best to God, but fear and anxiety seem
    To override everything.
    Prayers would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Lauren Williams says:

Elizabeth, I hope He pulls you in with His fierce love for you. I will be praying for you and your mom. I love you, my sister in Christ!

  55. Marlene thorn says:

I’m so happy for my friends in Christ

  56. Michelle LeBlanc says:

    Jammie Leblanc

  57. I’ll be inviting my friend, Jen.

  58. Sarah Leonard says:

This study is exactly what I need! I have struggled with confidence all my life, and as I move into a new season with new expectations and responsibilities, I want to have a confident trust in the One who has called me. And I want to share this study with my friend, Angela.

  59. This study sounds like something that is much needed for my “words of affirmation” heart. I long to focus only on what Christ thinks/says and not look to others for accolades. I will be inviting my friend Danielle to do this study with me.

  60. My “one” word for the year is Confidence. I sure would love to win the Confidence bundle. The person I am asking to join me in this study is my friend Julie who I met at a women’s conference.

  61. Ashley S. says:

I will share with my ladies small group! Sounds like a great study and nice confidence-building bundle! 🙂

  62. Doreen Sowers says:

Im going to ask my daughter Faith to join me. We have been looking for a study to do together.

  63. Stephanie says:

I am super excited about this study! It couldn’t come at a better time for me in my walk. I plan on sharing this with my friend, Kelli. Thank you for your service!

  64. I will invite my three adult daughters…this message could be life changing for us all. I have been trying to really hear God in this new year—-to listen as he gives me a word to use a a focus. Your Proverbs 31 message spoke to me today. I want God to always be enough. I’m sorry to say it is a learning process for me, and this bundle would be an amazing blessing to have. Thank for for your words today, and this generous offer.

  65. I would share this study with my friend Tammy. Thanks for all your great devotions.

  66. kathleen morton says:

the struggle is real for me and so many others. looking forward to the study!

  67. Shelley Shaw says:

Twice this week I have been attended high profile events with professionals and been relegated to “she just takes care of her husband.” These professional people actually said these things out loud! I had just shared this with my husband as he left for work this morning and wouldn’t you know the next thing I saw was this devotional shared on my Proverbs 31 email! Amazing how God works like that! I will ask my daughter, Melodi, to read along with me. At 18 years old her life is just now beginning and these precious truths would be a strong confidence builder.

  68. This may be one of the biggest things I struggle with; I have worked on this issue a lot over the past year and a half. It’s so frustrating because I do feel that God has gifted me with service but this pernicious sin often creeps in that I need praise at the end of my service. I desperately want to move past this and be a recovering people-pleaser! I’ve seen a lot of growth in this area, but the Lord still has work to do in this as well. This study seems perfect for me! Thanks for a great devo to start my morning.

  69. This is an interesting perspective. I had thought of it as a pride issue more than a confidence issue. I look forward to exploring this more.
Thank you for the opportunity to receive the bundle.

  70. When I was in corporate America we took one of those “learn about yourself” tests. It said I had a high need for attention and affection. About 14 years ago my husband moved our family to a small rural town. I had to leave my dream job and many friends. Looking back I think this was God’s plan to help me to focus more on him. He really is the only person that made the move with me. Many of my friends kind of forgot me. I fell into a deep depression. My faith has grown since that move no doubt as he continues to pull me back to him. Who will I share this with – my son who is repeatedly asking for complements lately. He needs to learn to rely on the Lord much more. Let’s hope I can get him to sit down with me!

  71. I am going to invite my daughters to do the study with me. They are both teenagers and I feel it would be great for them to get this message young. I pray they are ready to hear it and it plants seeds that will help them serve God.

  72. I’m excited to do this study. Inviting my 12 year old daughter to do it.

  73. Jennifer Norwood says:

Thank you for doing this…I am going to ask my daughter Grace to join me: )

  74. Oh Lynn, how I struggle with this. I need affirming and reaffirming all the time. I always seem to need to hear how I’ve done well. Honestly I think it’s because of my vision loss. I need to feel like I have something possitive to offer and that it can be done as well as a sighted person. I am definately a work in progress in this area. I don’t want to horde the blessings and thankfulness that belong strictly to God. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone on the affirmation train.

  75. Janice Kesterson says:

I will be inviting my Young Mom’s Bible Study that I lead. It would be great for them to learn to do all for the glory of the Lord instead of wishing all their work would be noticed by others…

  76. Kayla Adams says:

I am just beginning my spiritual journey and building my relationship with God. After many years of doubt and prayer for guidance, I believe I am finally in the right track and moving in the right direction with my Faith. Confidence has been something that has been a constant battle in my life. There was a time when I allowed others views to directly impact everything I did and believed. This would be so fantastic to receive. I would share with my guy, as he and I are building our faith together to have a great foundation for our family. ?

  77. Michelle Montgomery says:

I will be inviting another friend also named Michelle to join me. We both have battled codepence and confidence. This would be great for both of us to help in our spiritual growth.

  78. I would love to share this with one of the ladies in our Women’s Bible Study group. We are currently reading “A Confident Heart” by Renee Swope and this bundle would serve as another step in our journey to believe God daily and look to Him for our confidence! I wish I could gift every single one of my sisters one! Thank you, Lynn, for sharing with us the love lessons that the Lord has placed in your heart!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Danielle – I LOVE Renee’s book. So glad you are doing it!

    2. I would lobe to do it with my mother who is visiting us, we havent seen each other for 3 years and she has had breast cancer and is still in recovery and dont feel herself yet again xx

  79. Trisha White says:

I will share this with my precious daughter, God is at work in her life. My birthday was at the end of last month and I recieved a hand wtitten letter that said she would love to start doing devotions together. I’ve been praying and asking God for direction as to what that looks like or what we could do together. If this is what God has for us then He will show us. ❤

  80. I’d invite Jodie to study with me.

  81. Amber Baacke says:

I’m so excited I would be inviting my friend Katie to join the study with me

  82. I am inviting my Sister in God Gail Falin to join us. We are both in a season of change in our lives and lack the confidence to push forward through the unknown!! We both love God and want to Honor Him with our lives, so this has been an important topic lately!! Please help us find our confidence in the unknown changes and MOVE FORWARD!!!

  83. I will be inviting my daughters, ages 18 & 11, to join me in this study. After that, possible sharing it with a teen girls bible study. This is something, in this culture, every woman needs no matter what age.

  84. My mom- Aganetha. Wonderful inspiration, and we both often find ourselves encouraging one another to be confident and strong.

  85. Hoping my sisters will join me here. I struggle with letting everyone but Christ determine my worth. Always looking for reassurance from friends, coworkers and mostly my husband. Valentines day was extremely painful – watching commercials and expecting hubby to be like the men on tv… he isn’t and somehow now I feel unworthy and unloved 🙁 I know this is NOT true and all from satan – I need to get out of the vicious cycle… it’s time to make my move towards a more confident in Christ woman 🙂

  86. I will be sharing this with my Daughters!

  87. Lindsey Blair says:

I plan to ask my bestie, Libby Hall, to join me in the fight to build an unshakeable confidence!

  88. This one would be great to do with my sister!!

  89. Looking for light says:

I will be inviting myself.. because although I’m sure I can tell many people I know, I also know that my heart, like Linda’s, is tiered of all the lies. I have fallen so deep into this dark and angry place I need to let go and head towards the light and the truth. I love reading your devotions and I love especially that I can relate with the struggle. This to shall pass, in Jesus’ name. I tell you it feels like it never will, though. Can’t wait to see Him do thing not only with me but everyone that will be joining!! Thank you!

  90. Joy Tomlinson says:

I would do it with my mom Dorene

  91. Patricia Jaracz says:

It is discouraging to serve and serve without recognition or appreciation. The reminder that Christ’s approval is most important is very helpful!

  92. Sharon Serrano says:

Oh I am so excited about this study and so looking forward to what God is going to speak into my life during these few weeks of studying together. I am fearful when stepping out into all God’s called me to do. I wish I wasn’t but still struggle with it. Sometimes I do it afraid, other times I overthink it and won’t do it. I forget a lot that when God calls you do something, He will always have your back. I worry whether I’m saying the right things, wonder if people got it or if they hated it. Even writing this is a bit hard and embarrassing.
Im really looking forward to what God wants to do in me through this study. Im tired of walking in the fear of the unknown.
I’ll be inviting a good friend I do ministry with, my friend Deje. Hoping she will join me 🙂

  93. Thank you- what a healthy reminder especially when I fall short at work and among my own family members. What I do, I do for the Lord! Sharing with my friend Regan!

  94. Sounds like a great study. I am mentoring Lauren and she is ripe for the picking!?

  95. I am inviting my friend, Jennifer. She has been having thoughts on this very topic particularly in the workplace. Thanks!

  96. I have invited family and friends and am thrilled that 3 other beautiful women have committed to take this bible study and this journey with me. Thank you Lynn for being the pebble in the water creating ripples that continue to move, reaching farther and farther out!

  97. I will invite Tina to do this study with me!

  98. Linda Taffar says:

    Susan Garrison my daughter

  99. Looking forward to this and the opportunity to do this study with my sweet friend Kristi.

  100. Cynthia Polshak says:

I would love to go through this study with my mom, we could both use the encouragement from the Lord!

  101. This Bible Study is so fitting. I love God’s timing — and his reminders whether it be work, family, or other.

  102. I couldn’t see on my computer all of the giveaway instructions—–but I’d love to be entered to win the confidence booster pack. Looking forward to your study.

  103. I’d love to invite my friend, Sherri, to join me. Thanks for the chance to win.

  104. so far with two: Eileen and Marie, and I think I’ll share with me. Such a needed topic and study.
You will not even believe how timely your devotional was today: something happened at work (exactly not getting the credit at all for the work that I’ve done which was claimed as urgent, etc. as a favor) which made me lose my temper. But what you wrote cut off my frustrations and settled my mind somehow miraculously. So instead of spending my Friday night steaming about what happened (once again) at work, I feel more relaxed now because you helped me to readjust and remind of correct perspective :). Thank you SOO much!!

  105. I will invite my daughter.
I would love to win this bundle.
    Thanks, Lynn!

  106. Hi Lynn! 🙂

I am so excited for your Bible Study! Congratulations on your new release: Make Your Move! I’m currently finishing out the I Am Loved Bible Study by Wendy Blight and Proverbs 31 Ministries. I have received so much heart knowledge, and refreshers of head knowledge, that I want to continue growing closer to the Lord. Knowing and understanding Him, as well as myself and others. I’ve prayed for the Lord to lead me into another Bible Study and it has been confirmed, more than once, that I am to participate in yours next!

P.S. I prayed and asked the Lord to show me who to invite, but I haven’t heard back from Him yet. So, I will share about your study and book on my page.

    Hugs & blessings,
    ~Jannette

  107. This looks like a really good study. I will have to think about who to invite. Thanks!

  108. Thank you Lynn for the analogy using Deborah and your “atta-girl” devotion. I will share with my son who suffers with anxiety and very low self confidence. ~Lisa~

  109. Hi Lynn! My friend Linda Hooper is excited to be joining me in the live Make Your Move study. I ordered my book and DVD during the pre-order stage, and she and I have already started the study! She loves it!

  110. I sooo need the read this book and soak up the message. I am going to invite the ladies from my new accountability group. Paula, Kristen and Lindsey 🙂

  111. Linda Neely says:

I will invite my friend Regina to do this study.

  112. I so enjoyed your Atta-girl devotion. I have struggled with needing recognition for years. I know God is leading me to him being enough, but I still have it rear it’s ugly head sometimes. Looking forward to seeing who wins this cool package!

  113. Looking forward to this study. Will be sharing it with my neighbor Stephanie

  114. I will invite my husband to join me in this study. Very excited!!!

  115. Tina Hutchinson says:

Thank you for your upcoming study, I really need this study right now. Struggling with self esteem and need to learn I have the the confidence from the Lord. I will share with my daughter as she struggles with the same issues.

  116. Good afternoon all and a Happy Fantabulous Friday to you. I will be sharing this with my mother.

  117. Sharon C+ says:

The way I feel today and the way people are proving themselves I think you atta girl has left the building. No one seems to care about how they treat others. I’m so sad because it’s just not one person but a whole bunch of people. Don’t know why people have to be so mean. Sorry I’m so down. I guess the final straw was when I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago and had to be transferred 3 hours away. My hospital bill for a week was already $17,000 and then the ambulance ride was $3,000. Today, after insurance I got a bill saying I owe $982. I’ve been doing this study with Wendy on “I am Loved”. I sure don’t feel loved.

    1. Lauren Williams says:

Sharon, my sister in Christ, I love you!!! Keep your eyes on God, keep talking to Him and He will provide you with what you need. I’m sending you a huge virtual hug and I will keep you in my prayers, sweet sister.

  118. Anna Medina says:

Signed up and invited my daughter to join me ?

  119. Jodi Dooley says:

Again, God gives the right words at the right time! Thank you for your message and your heart! I would like to invite my step-kid’s mom (my husband’s ex wife) to join me in this study on our journey of moving closer to Jesus!

  120. Heather Hayes says:

I’d like to share this with my husband; Jeff and our friends Willis & Angela. We are all working on healing and moving forward with PTSD from familial & military events. Growing in confidence is a wonderful step toward loving oneself and therefore being able to love others well.

  121. I lack the confidence to know I can get my life back on track. I lost my car adn am raising my daughter. I have a good job and I pray but really struggling financially. Its hard to believe Jesus is with me. I know he loves me, I feel he is just letting me suffer for a while.

  122. Elissa Gaskins says:

I will be inviting my mother Kerry to join me. I am excited about it for sure! Also going to share with FB <3

  123. This sounds like a great study.

  124. What a great study this would be to journey through with my 17-year old daughter❣

  125. I would love to invite my soul sisters – Karen, Cynthia, Lisa and Christelle to join me in this study. I loved the “Atta girl” post so much when I read it in my Proverbs 31 devotional.
So timely and was like a glimpse into my own mind. Thank you.

  126. I will invite my 2 daughters.

  127. Nicci Ramirez says:

    My best friend Karen!!!! 🙂

  128. My two daughters and I plan to do this study and are looking forward to growing our faith and learning about our identity in Christ. We need this and are truly thankful for your ministry!

  129. Judith Martinez says:

I think I would like to do this study with my oldest daughter.

  130. My best friend Bre. This can be such a hard thing to overcome in today’s world, especially as a wife and mother. It’s so easy to fall into society’s trap of needing approval of others, rather than realizing we were born with the approval and love of our one true King.

  131. Anna Marie says:

I’ll invite my good friend Wendy Magitz! I’m looking forward to gaining confidence to know the only atta girl I need is from God!

  132. Thank you, this is exactly what I need to hear. Blessings!

  133. Such a fun giveaway! Love to read this book! I am working on being a confident momma my children can learn from:)

  134. I can’t wait for the study. I’m hoping my mom will join me!

  135. Jenni Pike says:

This study couldn’t have been revealed to me at a better time in my walk with Christ. I would love to invite my 12 yr old tween daughter on the journey of finding unshakable confidence in our Lord. Looking forward to His mighty blessing in this…thank you for walking out your calling Lynn.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Hi Jenni – I am so glad you are joining us! I have also just released a book for tween girls on the same topic: Brave Beauty: Finding the Fearless You. I think your daughter would love it as it is written for 8 – 12 year old girls.

  136. Lauren Williams says:

I will be asking my sister, Jillian, to join me. I’ve been praying to God asking for a way to help her feel more confident and closer to Christ. Then I read this devotional this morning and saw the giveaway. God is good! Jillian is smothered by insecurities and constantly measures herself against the world’s standards. She is even drawing her two little girls in, which is so sad. I have been trying to lift her out of this, but as I read this post, I realized I might be seeking praise for helping her! I know God has laid it on my heart to help guide my sister, but I need to learn that it’s really all about who guides me. This study is going to get us on the right path for our hearts to align with God. I can’t wait to dive into it!

  137. I will be inviting my cousin Michelle! We live far apart but we do bible studies together, long distance. Lynn, I know yours will be a huge blessing. I love your heart for the Lord and how you share it with other women!

  138. Geralyn Miller says:

Im gonna ask my daughter, Deshà, to joinme in this study. I pray i win the book so i get a chance to participate. I am homebound and am very lonely. I need an Aaron & a Hur in my life so bad.

  139. Rachel Frees says:

Lord bless Lynn. Thank you for the time you’ve taken to share your testimony. It’s a blessing to many and myself. I’d like to share this study with. Lisa Eldridge and Aleah Christianson. My very best friend and my daughter.. another best friend. Thank you

  140. Rebecca Gurk says:

I am going to do this study with both of my girls, ages 13 and 11. I also have a friend that I am developing a deeper friendship with and her name is Abby that would also benefit from this study. Thank you for giving us resources in this area.

  141. I don’t do FB but I will invite my friend Cindy thanks for the offer and all you do for our lord!!!!??

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Hi Shannon, the study will also include two emails per week – one which will have the private link to the teachings I recorded for this study with Thomas Nelson. I hope you will still join us for those!

  142. Gail Olson says:

I would love for my friend Whitney and I todo the study! We both could learn a lot about our worth in God’s eyes.

  143. I’ll be inviting my friend Jeanna! Thank you for this timely devotional on Deborah. Being a military spouse with 3 young boys at home while my soldier is deployed I am certainly in a season where I’m not getting many “atta girl” statements. More like “pitty/sorry” eyes from a distance. Each day I pray that I will have the strength and wisdom to be a mom that points her kids to Jesus; despite having the flu, a broken washing machines and sibling fights before the sun is up. Thanks for sharing TRUTH. Blessings!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

You are a brave and strong woman, Joge! Thank you for the part you play for our country! I’ll be looking for you in the study!

  144. stacy potter says:

I would invite my friend Pam

  145. I honestly don’t know who I would do a study with. I don’t have many very close friends, so I tend to do most studies on my own. I would hope God can show to me who would be best to ask.

As a mother and a wife it’s easy to feel overlooked and under appreciated. I can get defeated quite easily. If someone doesn’t notice me or something I do, sometimes I feel like they just don’t care and wanna give up, thinking no one would notice anyway. I know that’s a bad attitude to have, as I’m prone to self pity. I don’t get out of the house much, I tend to keep to myself most of the time, so that can get lonely. I also often feel like I’m failing at this wife and motherhood thing. My husband and I are just working now on getting our marriage back on track after I confessed a sin to him. My confidence was low and I was weak and gave into temptations when I was being recognized and appreciated by someone other than my husband. But the Lord gave me the strength to shut that down and confess to my husband. He has forgiven me but will be some time before he will trust me again. So I am working hard to feel confident in God so that I won’t need to feel needed or appreciated from anyone else. I also struggle with anxiety and fear and fear of failure is what keeps me isolated at home. I feel this study would be perfect for me in working on my confidence despite fears. Confidence to move forward in God, unshakable. To trust in Him and Him alone.

  146. I’m looking to start a small group morning bible study with some of my local girlfriends from various churches in my town and would love to do this alongside of them.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

How wonderful, Brandy! There is also a DVD teaching that has completely different content from the book that your group can watch each week at your meetings.

  147. I would ask my friend Trish to join

  148. I will ask my friend Amber. I spend half my life doing everything to please my ex husband nothing was ever good enough. Now I know I was doing it for all the wrong reasons.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Laura – I’ve spent a good share of my life living to please others too. It is nothing but exhausting. Thankfully, the Lord can set us free!

  149. diana callahan says:

I recently met a woman who lost her husband in a wreck last March. She is raising four children on her own. It is very difficult to say the least and she is struggling. If I win this-I feel that is a miracle in itself-I believe I should invite her to this study. Her name is Elizabeth. She is a believer but has stopped going to church after her husband’s death.

  150. Shared this with my Bible study group; we are studying prayer. Thank you for the encouragement!

  151. I’m thinking I should invite my best friend Lucy

  152. Would love to do this study with any other ladies who might be interested!

  153. This is exactly what I need! I will be inviting my mom and my best friend to join!

  154. Thank you for sharing your devotion. Oh how I too would like to have the same confidence as Deborah. And I know others feel the same way too. So I am inviting my new friend, Yun, to join me with this Bible Study. Excited and motivated for better things to come!

  155. My friend Merrylie and I would love this study. We both struggle with not being enough for God and remind each other of God’s promises often!! I would love to win!

  156. I invited my friend – we have been friends from uni and she is a rock !

  157. Bethany L says:

I will be sharing this with my sister, best friend and the ladies from my Sunday school women’s group. Thank you for this wonderful study.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Wonderful! So glad you’ll be joining us, Bethany!

  158. Emily Wilson says:

I would love to win this myself. ? But if I were to invite a friend it would be Jayde Sustaire. She’s priceless and this would be perfect for her. ? I’m so excited to read this book and for the study. I’m thankful God put this book on your heart. ?

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

What a kind thing to say, Emily! That is exactly how I feel about Make Your Move – God put it in my heart to share with others!

  159. This is a great title, I have the confidece in losing weight, lost 30lbs, now to get confidence about my life! Looking forward to your study, I miss out on Bible study at my church because I work until 7pm.

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

I’m so glad you can join us here, Gina! I know it must make you sad to miss Bible study at your church. I hope we can become your study community!

  160. Sheila Watson says:

Sharing with my friend Melissa. Shared on FB. Love ya Lynn, can’t wait to see you in October!
