Welcome to all the new friends stopping by today from Karen Ehman’s blog. I hope you enjoyed my story of my favorite Christmas. I am so enjoying reading all the comments of how others are giving away this Christmas. Serving and giving at Christmas time is even more special than at other times of the year isn’t it?
Right after Thanksgiving, our familly made a list of the Christmas things we wanted to be sure to do; I picked to give away together. Since we live in Charlotte, my family has the opportunity to put together shoe boxes at the Samaritian’s Purse warehouse. We’ll be preparing boxes for Operation Christmas Child and I can’t wait. My brother works there and often sends me pictures as the millions of boxes get shipped out.
Now I know they say that giving is more fun than receiving, but receiving is pretty fun too, isn’t it?
I’d like to be a part of your receiving this Christmas! My friend, Karen Ehman is having me as a guest on her blog. Earrings, manicure set, books and more are just waiting for the teen on your Christmas list. Just pop over to http://www.karenehman.com/ and get in on the give away!
If you would like some encouragement in your life or the life of your teen in finding your completion for life in Jesus, please look for that box at the top of my site and sign up to receive my posts each week. Not only will they help you to invest in the students in your world, but you will find them challenging to yourself as well! I hope you will join me!
Enjoy your Christmas weekend…it’s the season to enjoy our family and friends! I’m heading out for a Christmas breakfast with Mom, my sister Colleen and my daughters. What a fun way to start the weekend!
