It’s Finally Here!

Friend, I wish you were here with me right now! I just opened a box and it contained my very first copy of “Magnetic: Becoming the Girl He Wants”.

I can’t tell you how excited I am!

For over 12 years I’ve invested in young woman and I bet you can guess what their favorite thing is to talk about! The topic of most of their questions? The reason for much of their angst?

You got it…guys! I completely understand why! I, too, let my own inner struggles of wanted to be wanted get to me as a young woman. This was the catalyst for my writing, “Magnetic: Becoming the Girl He Wants”.

Picture a special young woman in your life. Now, imagine yourself having this conversation with her:

Do you ever wonder…

What does she have that I haven’t got?

Why doesn’t he ask me out?

What makes her popular? Why not me?

            What’s wrong with me?

Maybe it’s time to change the questions you’re asking and instead ask, “What does it take to become magnetic?”

Packed with revealing quizzes, interviews with guys and the tools you need to become the girl you want to be, Magnetic; Becoming the Girl He Wants will empower you to:

  •  Stop feeling powerless over your emotions and people’s opinions as you gain unshakeable confidence.
  •  Limit the draining affect of “girl drama” so you can invest your time in becoming the best you
  •  Replace the agonizing frustration of wanting to be noticed and liked with a deep assurance that you already are”

If you are like me, there are so many girls you want to see free from people’s opinions, becoming the best they can become and resting in the deep assurance that they are already incredibly wanted.

My prayer is that Magnetic will empower young women to stop fixating on “the one” and start focusing on becoming like The One. When they invest the best of who they are in becoming the girl He wants, learning and living out the fruit of the Spirit, they will reach their fullest potential.

This week is the beginning of a month of celebrating the release of “Magnetic”. When I say celebrating, I am talking great free gifts and amazing give aways.

  1. I love that, change the question!! What a great idea. Thank you for investing time for our young women and girls!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Of course, changing this question isn’t that easy! But when we pour into them daily we can help them!!

  2. Lynn, so excited about your new book!!!! Looking forward to reading it and sharing! Congratulations!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Thank you so very much, Beth!

  3. Can’t wait to read your new book! Sounds like just what I need to help all the teen girls in my life right now!

(My tween daughter is loving the His Revolutionary Love devotional!)

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

So glad she is liking it, Debbie!

While I was writing Magnetic, I did it with my high school girls small group. The “boy stories” held their attention while God’s word poured in their hearts 🙂

  4. Congratulations Lynn! What a great topic! The books should fly off the shelves! 😉
    God’s best!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Thank you so much, Susan! Can you pray the Lord will pour His favor on it so young girls can reach their fullest potential in Christ?

  5. I can’t wait to read this book with my daughter. I wish someone had written this book when I was a teenager. Since we all seem to struggle with confidence and wanting to be accepted, it sounds like moms will also benefit from this book. Thank you for investing your time in my daughter!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Thank you so much Traci for investing in your girl! You are the woman I am praying for – women that will be intentional to pour God’s truth into the heart of her girl!

  6. DeAnn Marlow says:

Like most, growing up I was fixated on boys. I now know where my true identity is found, in Christ and his love for me and it is my desire that the girls in my life could have this revelation at an early age. I will be praying for your book and the girls that will be reading it!

    1. Lynn Cowell says:

Oh thank you, DeAnn! Prayer makes ALL the difference! Praying for His word to seep in and change girls and for women who will take the time and energy to pour into girls!
