Little Hands: Big Faith

Finally, it was time to put on my pajamas. It felt later than it was and I was ready to call it a night. Walking past my husband’s sink, I spotted a little purple note with “little people” handwriting in green ink “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10” A little sticker boasting “Everything is possible with God!” held it to the mirror. Tears began to trickle down my cheeks. Our precious eleven-year old daughter had written out this verse to encourage her daddy in his big business week ahead. Nothing could have touched the heart of her mom like that precious vehicle of love.

It is simply to Madi. Just trust God and let Him handle it. Lord, help us today to learn to look to you like this precious little one!

  1. So very sweet Lynn. I think God leaves “purple notes” and “stickers” all over for us to read during the course of our day and we miss them because we’re not in His Word or looking for signs of His love.

Praying for that child-like trust today.

    Blessings,
    Joy
