Gorgeous is More Than A Face In A Mirror
Loosing weight.
Shopping the right stores.
Getting designer make-up.
For over 13 years I have watched girls do all the “right” things for the guy they wanted.
If they thought it would attract “him”, they tried it. And often, after changing the way they looked, the way they acted and the girl they actually were…he still didn’t want them.
And so she starts asking, “What’s wrong with me?”
What if we came alongside her; helping her reach past becoming what she thinks someone else wants to something even greater?
Instead of fixating on what that guy wants, she switched her focus. Started investing her time, energy and emotions becoming the girl He wants. God.
* A girl who focuses on others; makes them feel loved.
* So joyful; she’s fun to be around!
* Resisting girl drama; she’s peaceful.
* Patient with others; she has time for them.
* Kind and good. “I was only joking” isn’t a line she has to use.
* Faithful; she has your back not talks behind it. Not needing attention, she’s kind and gentle.
* Comfortable with who she is, she’s intentional about her choices because her priority is honoring herself and her God.
A girl like that, displaying the fruit of the Spirit, or what I call the captivating characteristics, is magnetic.
She’s absolutely gorgeous!
I am so excited! Today is finally the date of the Magnetic release!
Packed with revealing quizzes, interviews with guys and the tools your girl needs to become the girl God wants her to be, (the girl she wants to be!) Magnetic; Becoming the Girl He Wants will empower her to:
- Stop feeling powerless over her emotions and people’s opinions as she gains unshakeable confidence.
- Limit the draining affect of “girl drama” so she can invest her time in becoming the best she can be.
- Replace the agonizing frustration of wanting to be noticed and liked with a deep assurance that she already is!

This book is exactly what I need to read with my daughters! I’m so excited about it!
I love what you said, Regina! That is my prayer: that moms will do Magnetic with their girls (which is why I put a leadership guide in the back to make it super easy!)
I’ve been having moms upload pictures on my Facebook page with their daughters and their Magnetic books. I’d love to see your’s too!
I am so excited Lynn!! I have pre-ordered several to give to some girls in my life. Thank you for investigating and investing. WHAT A LIFE changing event this will be for so many young girls!
Thank you so very much, dear friend! And thank you for sharing your story in Magnetic!
I sure wish I could have had this book growing up and later on in my life. I have always felt sefl conscience only to learn later on in my older life that my self worth is from God alone and nothing else matters!
I wish I had had it too, Fran! At least we can share this truth with those coming up behind us!
Very excited about this book. I would love to have a copy of this book for myself to help grow out of the selfie stage and hopefully be on a good track when I have a daughter. Thanks!
Lynn, this is such a wonderful opportunity to change lives in a way that some of us never received! I have a few copies pre-ordered for some young ladies in my life, and I can’t wait to see how it impacts all of them! <3 Thank you!!
Oh, friend, this book is God’s heart for our girls (and for us) and I’m so proud of you for pouring out the time and energy to share His message. Thanks for the AMAZING devo at P31 today- it convicted me and inspired me all at once. So hard to admit that at 41 years old, there can still be a girl inside wanting attention. I want to die to self and let Jesus live beautifully in and through me. I want to be Magnetic and I desperately want my girls to be, too. I’m ordering copies for a few moms so we can dive into your book together with our girls. Congrats and blessings, dear friend.
So sad that media exploits women by their errotic ads when real beauty comes from within from God. No that Ivm against looking the best we can outwardly too with modesty.
Sweet lady, I was so moved when I began reading your words of inspiration! I’m a 59 yr.old grandmothers who’s taken on the challenge of raising 2 grandsons after raising 3 daughters. Oh what a change! Now I’m beginning of learning who God intended me to be so I can be the Christian leader for not only my girls but young women I come in contact with. You’ve inspired me to continue the fight of faith as the bible instructs “the old to teach the young” Titus 2:4. God bless you over and over. Melanie
This book sounds just like me! I have often wondered why I still choose to be the center of attention at times, looks as though it may be a part of my own insecurities! Hope to read this new book and dive deeper into what Hod can reveal to me through your obedience in this book!
This would be a great study to share with the young adult women’s class I teach on Sunday mornings.
Where was this when we were teenagers??? 🙂 . I will be ordering this book for my daughter and reading through it with her – she is 13. This is a great resource to start conversations and guide her through the tough times! Thank you!
I’d love to win one of these books for myself, and pass along to my daughter when she gets a bit older 🙂 but for now if I did win one I’d read her bits and peices every night along with me reading it 🙂 hopefully I get the chance to read to find out how this book can impact my life amazingly, as I’ve read from many comments about it.
Thank you for the chance. God bless xx
Hi Lynn,
Your devotion today really spoke to my heart. I did a little introspection and like you said I am a child that is loved and redeemed by God, a daughter of the King. I don’t know why I still desire to have the attention sometimes. I have two beautiful precious girls that are in there preteen years. I want them to grow up confident in the Lord, and live a selfless life. However, I know it starts with me and he modeling that I am doing in my own walk with the Lord. May God continue to bless your ministry as your continue to share the truths in God’s word.
Blessings,
Heather
I would love to read through this with my girls I am discipling. Sounds awesome!
I need a this book. I need help with becoming self confidence and not trying to be the center of attention. Feeling better about myself and how I see my self.
Oh thank you for vslidating what I feel!
Sometimes it is really hard to write about “my junk” but I guess we are all really there, right?
This is such a struggle in today’s society that continues to push being a better you, only for personal gain and satisfaction. To learn through the cross of who we are because of HIM we can grow into the people he desires us to become, for him. The pressure and never ending self-seeking cycle can be broken as we turn our hearts and eyes to Christ. Thank you for your investment in so many women!
🙂
Lynn just reading your devotion today made me wish I had this advice when I was a young girl and also as I raised my daughter. I am so hoping I can give this to my daughter to gleen for her precious daughter my precious granddaughter. Oh to see what impact it could and will have. I hope to be able to share this with several girls I know to see how it impacts their lives also. Praise The Lord for your words. Thank you!
Thank you so much Judy for being a woman God can use to pour truth through! I appreciate you!
This book is right on track for me. My word for year is “exchange” because I need to exchange my perceptions of myself for what God’s Word says about me, His child and I need to exchange my toxic thoughts for His promises.
Love that word – EXCHANGE!
This book sounds like a very good book for Moms & daughters. I’d love to get some for my young granddaughters!!
Thank you for being an investor in your granddaughters, Peg!
